    Now that submissions have continued, the favs continued too. :dead:

    This morning I got 13 unexpected favs. *sigh* Several of them were from members of this club, others mostly from newbies or other DA people.
    Thank you all for not reading...

    If this continues in an increasing rate, please don't make me enforce the ban members rule. I would like to say "This is the LAST straw!" but I can't say that, since I have many straws...figuratively speaking. But even I aren't THAT patient and polite.

    Thank god the biochemistry class calmed me down from this morning when I woke up at 7am and saw that shit in my messages. -..-'' Otherwise, I would have been insulting and cursing everyone and everything on DA.

    I don't care about professionalism or all that crap. Not like anyone on DA is professional or fair. This is MY club, this is my hard work, I put more than a years work into the constant update of this club. I worked hours upon hours of creating a nice enviorment for all. And how do YOU repay me? Hmm?

    The thought of killing the club and deleting everything including the account HAS occured to me. *sigh* But I wanted to be an admin of a nice dragon club and I am, with all the hardships that job brings...

    The least you can do is READ dammit! >_< Nobody reads anymore, nobody listens, DA is turning into crap and the administration is atrocious.

    Thank god for tolerance!

    Any suggestions to solve the faving problem? ^^

All information about the day itself and the prizes you can read in his journal :bulletred:[HERE]:bulletred: You can draw absolutely any character you want, which includes dragons. ;) Deadline is April 22nd and the prizes are mainly digital colored paintings. :D Have fun.

    :iconalecan: is also having a project called "The Dragon Tarot Set". :D It's obvious what it's about by the name. It is similar to the "100 dragon project" and you can enter your own characters to be in set. :XD: All the details about the cards you can find :bulletblue:[HERE]:bulletblue:

    :iconwhitesnake: is taking commissions. It isn't strictly dragons, she'll draw anything you want. :D They're pretty cheap, $15 for a full CG drawing and $5 for a quality sketch. ^^ All other details you can find in her journal :bulletpurple:[HERE]:bulletpurple:

    :iconsibe-chan: has put up a dragon contest. :D The object is to draw one or more of her dragons. Sounds like a nice contest worth checking out. :D Have fun drawing.

    Ali čak i da ih bannaš iz kluba to ih svejedno ne bi spriječilo da i dalje favaju.

    Moj je prijedlog da svaki crtež uplodaš i sa watermarkom i natpisom ''do not fav'' kao što to radi ovaj klub: [link]

    You could try what *Dragonlovers-club or *ThePencilClub does. The club :+fav:'s the submissions and then posts them in the journal. That way you'd get no favs on stuff.

    If you still want to continue submissions by the club uploading, you could always try uploading the thumbnail of the piece instead of the full picture. That way people would have to go to the original one in order to see the full view.

    it's a nicely formed idea with the dragonlovers-club, but if you ask me, it's stupid to put members deviations in journals once a month...that way people can't submit many deviations at all and ONLY the really awesome ones will get featured in the journal, which wouldn't be fair to the avarage artists...furthermore, I do not have a subscription, so I can't put thumbs in my journal...and like hell I would EVER pay the stupid DA admins for anything, so a subscription is out of the question

    I think I'll go with the watermark idea :D it might reduce the faving, but that can't be helped

    and like hell I would EVER pay the stupid DA admins for anything, so a subscription is out of the question

    Most of the money goes towards server bills and upgrades anyway. Besides, a sub is totally worth it (in my opinion). Only £11.50 for a year? Great deal, especially for going through messages and deviations.

    I wouldn't pay them a cent, since they're inconsistant, rude, cheapstakes, rude and inconsiderate...but I guess it's okey since they need SOME money for the server bills...even though DA is filled with shit

    I have an idea. This is what one of the other clubs i have joined do.

    They put "please do not fav, this is a club" on every picture they put in their gallery. It will be annoying, but it should solve the problem because nobody should be stupid enough to fav a picture that says don't fav. If you think it's too much to do, saving all the pictures and adding that on, i suggest you get someome to help you in the submission criteria to speed things up. ( I wouldn't mind :XD: )
