CURRENT NEWS

In non related news to my laptop being dead, there may have been confusion about the club chatroom DragonCrystalCavern.
There has been a rogue mod operating and he put a topic that the chatroom is closing. THIS IS NOT TRUE. The chatroom is still wide open, despite what he wrote.
Also, if the club is temporary closed, that doesn't mean that chatroom is closed too. The chatroom stays OPEN, unless Syk says otherwise. ^..^

For future reference I will be more clear in my announcements.
I recieved a certain number of join and submission notes and now I have quite a few. This is why I am suspending ALL submissions and membership requests from now on. Do not send any notes like that. The club is officialy closed.

The notes till today will remain in the inbox and I'll deal with them when the time comes, but ANY new submission or membership notes will be DELETED. This is very important to read cause I do not want any confusion later on. I repeat:
Any new submission or membership notes sent to the club, beginning today, will be DELETED.
I do not want my inbox filled with 50+ notes once I do get my laptop back, like it happened the last time. This is why I'm implementing all of this now.

If you're wondering about when everything will be opened again, I'm sorry to say that, right this moment as I was writing, got a phone call...It was the service company and they said to repair my laptop would cost about the same as a brand new one. X..X So it isn't really worth repairing.
So there you have it, my laptop is totaly destroyed and the club is closed indefinitely.

I will however check regulary on the status and if someone wants to send me a personal note, feel free to do so and I'll read it and reply.

There you have it, my laptop died. X..X It was only a matter of time when the power cable will fail as the battery failed a long time ago.

I ask of you all, please don't send me many submissions or membership requests, cause my moms internet is very very limited and it's costly. I can't stay much on it and that's why I can't do all the club business properly.
I'll still be able to do some, but not many. So please, try not to send them until my laptop is back. Also I don't want to have my hands full when my laptop returns either, cause I have exams right now and don't have a lot of time as it is.

I don't know when my laptop will be back, but it will probably be a few weeks, two or three. So the club is kinda on a hold till then.

To my MSN friends, I may be online shortly every morning european time, but not for long. I can't really use my moms computer much. I'll see you all in a few weeks probably, as it takes the maintenance guys VERY long to repair it.

CLUB CONTESTS

MEMBERS CONTESTS & PROJECTS

is having a dragon contest. The object is to draw a fully colored flying dragon. You can use any medium you want and the entries will be judged by several factors. The deadline is January 30th and all the details about the nice prizes you can find in the journal [HERE] Enjoy!

is also having a project called "The Dragon Tarot Set". It's obvious what it's about by the name. It is similar to the "100 dragon project" and you can enter your own characters to be in set. All the details about the cards you can find [HERE]

is holding a dragon contest. You have to color her lineart wyvern. You can find the link to the picture in her journal [HERE] Or you can give a story on what that wyvern is doing. Or both. lol The deadline is February 14th. Enjoy!

is taking commissions. It isn't strictly dragons, she'll draw anything you want. They're pretty cheap, $15 for a full CG drawing and $5 for a quality sketch. ^^ All other details you can find in her journal [HERE]

club is organizing their first contest. The goal is to draw two dragon characters in a christmas theme. ^^ Their references you can find in the club journal [HERE] The current deadline is December 31st, but that can change as there aren't many participants. Enjoy the contest.

has put up a dragon contest. The object is to draw one or more of her dragons. You can find the references in her journal [HERE] The prizes are lotsa lotsa drawings. Very interesting. The deadline may vary depending on the number of people who enter. Sounds like a nice contest worth checking out. Have fun drawing.

is doing dragon requests and art trades. The exact number of people who can enter isn't defined, but it seems there are a lot of spots free. You can find it in her journal [HERE]
