I bet you all remember my last journal. It was about favving, which seems many clubs on DA have a problem with. Currently there is no way to resolve this problem and I'm going to provide you with the links as to why.
If you ask DA will they make a feature to disable FAVs, their answer would be this: [link]
If you go deeper, you would see that DA does not support clubs in any way: [link] [link]
I think people before stated this issue to the DA forums, but the idea was refused. There was a rumor going around that DA will create a new system for creating club accounts, but I think that idea was scrapped.
So the clubs will just have to continue on, warning people NOT TO FAV which I will state here AGAIN and in every deviation I put in the gallery. BUT they have broken the most important rule of this club and the one thing I can do about it is send them notes. Which mostly are ignored or not read.
I apologize to the original artists, the members of this club, for not getting those deserved FAVs. But I will do everything I can to get them to FAV the original, cause those FAVs are rightfully yours.

One deviant posted a journal entry about this fav feature. She proposes that DA makes a disable fav feature and I agree completely.

One final thing in the end.
I would like to thank everyone very muchly for commenting so much. I really did not expect to get so many comments, as the journal entry before that was barely commented on. I'm not used to getting so many comments, that's why it is a very pleasant surprise and it made me feel a lot better to know that so many people support me. Thank you all for your kind words, lovely long comments (as you have noticed I like to write long comments, aka babble ) <-- I hope you don't mind all these brackets, I just have too many thoughts in my head at the same time.
Again, thank you for supporting me and this club; in return I'll try my best to make it a very cool dragon club. Thanks you guys and gals.

If you have any suggestions on how to improve certain things in the club or any ideas for a specific activity within the club, please do tell.
I'm always open to new ideas.

CLUB CONTESTS

club is organizing their first contest. The goal is to draw two dragon characters in a christmas theme. ^^ Their references you can find in the club journal [HERE] The current deadline is December 31st, but that can change as there aren't many participants. Enjoy the contest.

is having a dragon x-mas contest. The object is to draw Thaz in an x-mas spirit. It can be cartoony, realistic, anthro, non anthro, anything you want. There are 4 amazing prizes to win which will be judged by skill and creativity. You can read all about that in his journal [HERE] The deadline is December 24th and Thaz's references you can find the journal entry. Have fun drawing him.

is having an animal (dragon) contest. ^..^ It is an x-mas related contest and you can draw only animals or mythological creatures such as dragons. You can use any medium you want and any style. The prizes for three first places include various drawings from the artist. The deadline is December 20th and the journal you can find [HERE] Good luck.

has put up a dragon contest. The object is to draw one or more of her dragons. You can find the references in her journal [HERE] The prizes are lotsa lotsa drawings. Very interesting. The deadline may vary depending on the number of people who enter. Sounds like a nice contest worth checking out. Have fun drawing.

is having a dragon contest. You need to draw her dragon character colored and the character sheets are in her journal [HERE] The prizes go to first three places and they are mainly a colored version of your character. The deadline is January 11th and more details about the prizes you can find in her journal.

is holding a big contest. The goal is to draw his two dragon characters Goldblaze and Silverstorm. You can use any medium you wish. You need to change the color design of the characters, but the original main colors have to be the same. The deadline is December 18th and the prizes are very tempting. is doing dragon requests and art trades. The exact number of people who can enter isn't defined, but it seems there are a lot of spots free. You can find it in her journal [HERE]
